Kundalini Yoga

 

Kundalini yoga has been a big part of my personal growth and well-being so I am happy to share and lead this practice for others.

It is a yoga of awareness and transformation, a system drawn from aspects of different styles with a particular focus on raising the kundalini energy. It contains elements of dynamic repetitive movement combined with breathing exercises/ pranayama, chanting, mudras and meditation.

My hope is to to hold space for others to have an experience of themselves, their truth and feeling balanced in a group setting, similar to what one might experience one-on-one with me.

I teach every second Sunday 5-6:30 pm PST at Yoga West online and in-person. Please register and check schedule through Yoga West.

kundalini yoga and gong bath

I will be teaching “Kundalini Yoga + Gong Bath” at West Point Grey Community Center/ Aberthau Mansion starting Sep 19th to Oct 24th, 2024 on Thursdays 6-7:15pm.
To register for the whole series is $108 and drop-in is $20.

Kundalini Yoga is a powerful and transformative practice that brings you back to your heart and true nature. It is designed to release blocks to the reservoirs of untapped energy within us which is known as kundalini. This practice includes dynamic movements, pranayama (breathing exercises), mudras (hand yoga), bandhas (body locks), drishti (eye gaze), chanting and meditation. The therapeutic sound and vibration of gong is used during relaxation to deepen stillness and rejuvenation. Open to all with different fitness level.
